A Brink’s armored car security officer was killed on Monday at around 5pm after being involved in a traffic accident with a truck.
Police say that the armored truck blew a tire and struck another truck and then rolled over onto some train tracks. The driver of the vehicles were injured but the security officer in the rear compartment of the vehicle died from multiple injuries and trauma from the wreck.
The name of the security officer killed has not been released yet.
