Employees of bad security companies are finally standing up, quitting and verifying the information themselves!

May 2, 2009-  Albuquerque, NM- Hard working people are hurt when their employers don't pay them for hours worked.  They are also hurt when the same employer issues worthless checks.  Of course, I am referring to the infamous Legit Security or Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Taos.  I have been contacted by over a dozen of these people and have heard their troubles.  I was surprised that many security employees didn't know of this blog, despite its thousands of hits daily.  The employees were surprised that they were working for such scum.  There seem to be a lot of updates that come in by the hour including the listings below.

I have shared all of this information with law enforcement, however much had already been submitted by current or former employees prior to me receiving it.  

These are some e-mails that I have received from current or former Legit Security employees in the past few days..(many others have gone to law enforcement)

The entire Santa Fe security staff has quit.  Legit security Santa Fe team has walked! It's a losing battle trying to work with or for this company. Peoples livelihoods are being ruined and bills are stacking up. Not being payed on time and being payed the right hours effects a lot of good hard working people. The office won't answer the phone and the Santa Fe team has been working without their physical guard cards for over a month. The officers can't even find their names registered for guard cards as level 1 or 2 even though they've gone through the training. There will be several of us at Gill baca's day in court! I am one of Sgt. Russell's officers that is following his advice. Thanks to your and his researching and caring hearts we can see that enough is enough. We have a good team in Santa Fe of caring people willing to work very hard.. You will receive applications for employment for myself and my fellow Santa Fe officers in the weeks to come. Thank you for your time and dedication to stopping the wrongs being created by those who run/own Legit security. As promised, here's a little information on the was Legit Security is treating their Guards in Taos, NM at Holy Cross Hospital... A Guard that quit due to the fact that he was not paid over $2,000.00 in wages.  He filed a complaint with Taos County District Attorney's office.  A current Guard told me that he has had three (3) paycheck bounce from Legit, and his personal checking account is overdrawn, because of it.  He's out fighting fires right now so, I don't know if he's pursued legal action.  A third Guard went to Taos D.A. last week because his paycheck bounced, and he told me that he started his employment with Legit January 8, 2009 and did not see a first paycheck until mid-February 2009. i am sorry but i was terminated and i havent really been in a good mood.  regarding mighetto i do have a question for you. did you know that mighetto was a reserve deputy with valencia county sheriffs for 2 years. i really dont know his schedule but he does work days and knowing him it will most likely be from tuesday to thursday. i will give you his number 505 577 2182. as far as i know he is still major. deputy chief is working in the office. stidham is not involved with the company no one that i know has seen him and know nothing about him. last i heard he sold out and no ones knows who took over.   oter  than not getting paid on time my check has bounced once and that was a long time ago. bobby no one knows where he is at. i can not believe everything that you have uncovered and i do hope the best for the people still there. well cox is still deputy chief and no we did not get paid on friday like we were suppose to. they said till monday.. and the company is starting to loose a lot of clients. we have lost 3 patrol accounts and some in santa fe. they are also trying to fish me out. they are telling people they suspect of talking to you stories to see which one ends up on your blog.  Santa Fe operations used to have 20 accounts.  Now it only has 9 and all officers have walked due to no pay. Phone Call Updates: Former (recent) Legit Employee:  "I verified with Florida Department of Corrections that Ed Mighetto is a convicted felon by calling Florida myself!" Current Legit Employee: "Legit manager Andrew Steele said that you were making all of these things up and that you forged all of the documents, reports and background checks on the NM Security Blog.  I went down to APD records myself and got all of the police reports that you shoed myself!  How can Gil Baca be charged so many times for Felonies.  He is obviously not a good person and a lier- a fake.  He needs forgiveness because is a criminal.  Stidham's police report was there.  Mighetto, Cox, Hibben- is there any Legit Manager who hasn't been arrested?  Where is our money?  The bosses seem to be doing very well but they don't pay us who do the job.  I am quitting!" Current Legit Employee: "I've been there for a month and I still haven't gotten a paycheck.  Who knows what is going on.  I am proceeding with the NM Department of Labor.  I know some of the guards are proceeding with the Taos County District Attorney (Joe Ortiz) for their unpaid wages.  The people from Legit's corporate office are coming up to Taos on Monday to meet with the hospital.  The hospital las been paying its invoices to Legit Security and they want to know where that money is going."    Current Legit Employee:  "I work for Legit Security at Schott Solar in Albuquerque.  Payday was supposed to be Friday and I wasn't paid.  The company is saying it may be Tuesday now.  I am quitting to find a job that pays."

Why can't the managers just tell the truth? It is up to them to pay us and answer the phone. They don't even do that anymore. They are all scrambling around trying to lie to customers so that they can keep their contracts. How can they keep them if they don't have guards to work? I never got my guard card. They will have to find someone else to do this sh#% because I am tired of being screwed out of money, shorted on checks, lied to and having these boys give me useless excuses.

Stop preaching and pay me! Idiots.
