GB's arraignment yesterday...

February 2, 2010- I will buy a cup of coffee if anyone can tell me what happened in the court hearing on his arraignment yesterday..  I searched the in-custody list at the jail and he isn't on it.  Does that mean that they really left him out of jail again?  LOL.  Me and about 250 others can't believe it if that is the case..  But, this still is New Mexico.  Mr. Baca- don't do it a gain.  We will leave you out of jail until the hearing.. Just stop getting indicted or else I might have to put you in jail again.. :/

I have turned up some interesting information that he is behind on his child support obligations by seven months.  Man, there are some stories there.  I also heard that he has entered a completely new profession where he can talk to people about being good, get forgiveness and ask for money at the same time..  This should be interesting..  I'm going to get some video of this for my readers.  I am also holding back on some new information I dug up in terms of e-mails that are hilarious for the right moment..

I am finishing up a book about gaining personal/ corporate intelligence and karma.  It is funny.  I wrote a descriptive paragraph about Baca last night that made me laugh.. This is probably the first time he is reading this and may not know it was me who was behind some of his defeats..  LOL. Good times..

My office manager told me that my attorney was on the line and I answered the call.  “I’ve got Baca here in my office now.  He wants to know if you will take less.  He wants to discount the judgment by fifty percent,” he said.  “Hell no,” I replied.  “Tell him that I will have the Sheriff take all of the contents of his office to satisfy the debt.”  There was silence.  The attorney says, “he is writing a check now.”  I laughed and told him “that wouldn’t work either.  Tell him to get me cash or a cashier’s check or go to hell.”  I heard him repeat it to Baca who didn’t sound happy.  I heard my attorney chuckling because he was used to hearing me talk like this when I was fired up and had the appropriate amount of leverage applied to a target.  I knew I would get the money soon enough, which I did in cash.

Does anyone remember the warning that we gave- for the last few years?

Seriously, this is a complete joke.  Look at all of these problems, charges, crimes, photos, news stories.  Why did it take so long?  This page isn't even fully updated.  Let's hope that this never happens again..

Co-founder of Legit Security, gets slammed with Criminal Tax Evasion Charges

January 28, 2010- Albuquerque, NM-  We all heard that this was coming but the Grand Jury finally indicted Gil Baca a couple of days ago for Criminal Tax Evasion.  I wonder if they are going to allow him to stay out of jail?  His Arraignment is on February 1, 2010.  Doesn't seem right for a man already facing 102 years in a huge separate indictment..

Know the pre-attack indicators for your safety..

January 20, 2010- Albuquerque, NM-  Bad people can only want three things from you.  Your money/property, your body or your life.  Consider this.  Bad guys don't want three things- for it to take to long, to get hurt or get caught.  Knowing this can be helpful for assessing your vulnerability at a given point.  There are pre-attack indicators that bad guys use and I have found a good video of some of them.  Notice how common sense plays into noticing what the pre-attack indicators are.  remember to use your instinct, intuition and intelligence to solve a problem.  

Many of the concepts that I teach are based upon conflict research of Tony Blauer, who I train under. 

Bad things happen and it is important to not be in denail.  Be observant and aware.  Trust your instinct and remember that bad situations call for uncommon self defense.  Any victim of an attack must also be concerned about the "secondary location."  This is where a bad guy might take you after the initial attack.  Remember the money, body life analogy?  It is estimated that over 3% of the world's socient are sociopaths.  Consider the following:

Psychopathy (pronounced /saɪˈkɒpəθi/^[1][2]) is a personality disorder whose hallmark is a lack of empathy. Researcher Robert Hare, whose Hare Psychopathy Checklist is widely used, describes psychopaths as "intraspecies predators^[3][4] who usecharisma, manipulation, intimidation, sexual intercourse and violence^[5][6][7] to control others and to satisfy their own needs. Lacking in conscience and empathy, they take what they want and do as they please, violating social norms and expectations without guilt or remorse".^[8] "What is missing, in other words, are the very qualities that allow a human being to live in social harmony."^{[9] ~ wikidepia}

The prototypical psychopath has deficits or deviances in several areas: interpersonal relationships, emotion, and self-control. Psychopaths gain satisfaction through antisocial behavior, and do not experience shame, guilt, or remorse for their actions.^[15][16][17] Psychopaths lack a sense of guilt or remorse for any harm they may have caused others, instead rationalizing the behavior, blaming someone else, or denying it outright.^[18] Psychopaths also lack empathy towards others in general, resulting in tactlessness, insensitivity, and contemptuousness. All of this belies their tendency to make a good, likable first impression. Psychopaths have a superficial charm about them, enabled by a willingness to say anything without concern for accuracy or truth. Shallow affect also describes the psychopath's tendency for genuine emotion to be short lived and egocentric with an overall cold demeanor. Their behavior is impulsive and irresponsible, often failing to keep a job or defaulting ondebts.^[18] Psychopaths also have a markedly distorted sense of the potential consequences of their actions, not only for others, but also for themselves. They do not, for example, deeply recognize the risk of being caught, disbelieved or injured as a result of their behaviour.^{[19] ~ wikipedia}

I stress a model that empowers people to detect, deter and defend against attack or violent behavior.  The best conflict is the one where you are not involved.  How does a person avoid confrontaiton all together?  

• Body language: If you look like you're expecting a shakedown at any moment, you'll attract attention for all the wrong reasons. People who appear confident are less likely to invite a violent confrontation, basically because they look as if they can handle themselves. It's simply a question of walking tall, keeping your head up, and not flinching away when someone approaches to ask the time. Just be sure not to go too far, and swagger like you'll take on all contenders. 
• Keep cool: Don't freak out if you find yourself in a dodgy confrontation, or enter into an argument at the bar. The aim is not to let the emotional temperature rise, because it'll also increase the risk of an escalation into violence.
• Avoid attention: So there you are, strutting down the street. You have the jewellery on show, your state of the art phone pressed to your ear, and a sign over your head that's visible to everyone but you. One that shouts; Rob me, everything must go! Street muggings don't always involve violence, of course, but you're more likely to get hurt by someone who's after your money rather than directions to the local library. Ultimately, the less conspicuous your valuables, the more likely you'll be to get from A to B in one piece. If you must carry stuff like cash, phones and credit cards, don't make a big deal of it.
• Stick with your friends: Whether you're walking home late at night, or hanging out outside a club, security comes with numbers. 
• Eye contact: If you've sensed someone scooping you out, look them . Keep your head up, because the body language of confidence speaks volumes.
• Steer round big groups: You don't want to walk a path through a bunch of drunks on the street, or force them to stop or step aside. You're not royalty, just an average Joe who wants to get on in life without blood being spilled. If possible, cross the road before they've even noticed you.
• Go with your instinct: If you don't feel comfortable, whatever the situation, take steps to protect yourself. Even if it means taking the long route home, at least you'll make it in one piece!

A funny complaint response to No Stone Unturned Security and Ruby Handler- Jacobs

January 16, 2010-  I received a comical complaint from Ruby Handler-Jacobs of No Stone Unturned Security, accusing me of slander.  This is a company that hasn't been featured very much on the Blog because I thought they were going out of business.  Certainly, I have received many e-mails from former or then current employees about unpaid wages, unpaid reimbursement, unlicensed activity, etc.  Read my response to her complaint below.  I thought it was important for me to bring up a few issues that plague the company right now, including a Federal Court lawsuit for wages and discrimination..

Dear Mr. Herrera:

I have received a complaint filed by Ms. Ruby Handler Jacobs dba No Stone Unturned Security dated January 5, 2010.  I will respond to her complaint and provide additional information below that the Board should be aware of concerning his person/ company.

·      I publish the NM Security Blog.  There are several authors who contribute information and blog posts.  The public and news agencies have overwhelmingly supported this blog and its efforts.

·      I did publish a story on July 27, 2009 concerning No Stone Unturned.  I did a license check with the PI Board Website and it stated that the PPO license #2020 was “Expired.  I provided a link and a copy of the printout.

·      I had information concerning a number of their employees not being paid, which was, in fact the case.  I have listed several lawsuits filed in 2009 by various persons against No Stone Unturned Security.  Please see list below.

·      The blog post was short and true at the time I wrote it based on the information and evidence that I researched.

·      No Stone Unturned Security has no claim to any bond that I have posted as I spoken the truth and they have alleged no damages.

*9187- case is regarding a default judgment against No Stone Unturned Security for breah of contract.  Case Pending

*1394- case is regarding unpaid wage issues from NM Workforce Solutions.  Case pending.

*2968- case is regarding unpaid wage and labor issues.  The case is now pending in Federal District Court.

In addition, I see that No Stone Unturned Security has no worker’s compensation insurance as listed on the NM WC website as of today: https://www.ewccv.com/cvs/ (this is a secured website- you need to cut and past to verify).

No Stone Unturned Security has no private investigation license.  Their website advertises private investigation services in violation of the law: http://www.nostoneunturned.com/priv.html (excerpt below)

PRIVATE INVESTIGATION

No Stone Unturned has on-staff licensed private investigators who conduct both criminal and civil services. This includes providing surveillance, missing person location, intellectual property violations, employee background checks, fraud investigation, identity theft, computer forensics, de-bugging, accident investigation, aviation and maritime incidents. 

This complaint is baseless and there have been no violations for the board Rules, PI Board Act, statute, etc.  It should be immediately dismissed and the Board should look into the operations and compliance of No Stone Unturned and Ruby Handler- Jacobs as there are obvious violations of rules and law.
